This unit plan was created for a 9th grade self-contained Special Education classroom, in which several of the  students are also multilingual students. The walkthrough explains how the authoring teacher used data from district and state tests to tailor her curriculum to the diverse needs of her students. The lesson plan features learning goals, accommodation strategies, and assessments that present students with the content area curriculum while supporting their language development milestones.
