On this page, you will find a walkthrough of an activity created for the Socio-Cultural Context Advanced Micro-credential. The authoring teacher used elements of culturally responsive instruction to create an activity in which students discuss their cultural backgrounds in the classroom. The author used a culturally and linguistically diverse book to get her students explore the cultural significance and traditions behind their names.
