The authoring teacher created the graphic organizer to adapt her students’ needs as English-learning students in ways that align with their Individual Education Program (IEP) content area goals. Teachers list observable behaviors that indicate a student’s need for accommodations and create measurable goals that fit a student’s dual-identified learning profile. The accommodations can and should be shared with other educators working with the student to ensure equitable access to the curriculum across settings.
