On this page you will find a walkthrough of a collection of classroom activities and strategies used as artifacts for the Micro-Credential “Connecting the Stages of Second Language Acquisition.” The authoring teacher combined student collaboration with graphic organizers to facilitate students’ growth in language domains such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The graphic organizers used were particularly effective as it provided visual scaffolds alongside a “Tiered” approach to Science vocabulary words.
